Vision & Strategic Planning 2005-2007
In the summer of 2005, our church embarked on a vision and strategic planning process,
with the Session authorizing the formation of a Vision and Strategic Planning Committee. In
June 2006 the committee presented new vision, mission, and purpose statements for
the church, along with a list of core values and distinctives of our church.
In November 2006, the committee presented a strategic plan for accomplishing this
vision. In October, 2007 the committee and the Session presented the adopted
strategic plan. Listed on this page are the documents published during this process.

Vision Summary Booklet, June 2006
This document summarizes and discusses our vision, mission, and purpose statements,
as well as our core values and our distinctives. It was distributed to members in
June, 2006.
Executive Summary, Report to the Session
The Vision & Strategic Planning Committee produced a comprehensive report on
all aspects of our church, which provided the basis for our vision statements.
The full report is over 100 pages long, with an additional 70 pages of appendices.
This is the Executive Summary of that report, which was distributed to the congregation
in June, 2006. The full report was and is made available to members in our library;
due to the sensitive nature of some parts of the full report it is not available online.
Strategic Plan Booklet, October 2007
This is the summary booklet presented to the congregation by the committee and the
Session. It contains the plan as amended and adopted by the Session.
Strategic Plan, November 2006
This is the origninal strategic plan document as presented by the committee to the
Session. It contains further details, rationales and examples. Note
that the specific examples in this report were not included in the Session's approved
plan; these remain to be worked out as we move forward with our plan.
